That’s a given. In 2018, I found myself rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs, but I have no long time secondary allegiance to them, or to any other team for that matter. The Bears weren’t my first favorite team, but I no longer care for the two teams I cheered for before discovering Walter Payton and the Bears way back when. Sam Householder: I’ve kind of ebbed and flowed depending on which players were on which team through the years. I’ve always appreciated Andy Reid, so I’ve enjoyed watching the Chiefs the past few years. I also really like Russell Wilson and so I like watching the Seahawks. They’ve been built like a lot of Bears teams of the past.Robert Schmitz: The Dallas Cowboys...BEFORE YOU THROW THINGS HEAR ME OUT: I grew up in Dallas. My mom is a massive Cowboys fan. So when they drafted a big-time running back and built their team from the inside out, I couldn’t help but like what they were doing. Who knows if they’ll ever get a post-Romo QB (I don’t think Dak is “the guy”) but they’ve got a pretty good thing going otherwise. The Bears and the ‘Boys are Gruden bros for life.Erik Christopher Duerrwaechter: Provided that this team is the closest from home, I do like the Saints. A large number of my friends are Saints fans, too. I love the city of New Orleans in general, with a Cup of Café du Monde coffee being a daily must for me. Plus their fans are warm and welcoming in one of the best stadiums in all of sports. Jacob Infante: My second-favorite team would have to be the Jacksonville Jaguars. I used to cover them for another site I wrote for a few years back, and I developed a bit of a soft spot for them. I appreciated their fanbase, their talent, and, to be honest Womens Walter Payton Jersey , I’m a sucker for a cheesy underdog story, and the 2017 Jaguars team was a lot of fun to watch. I liked the Tomlinson Chargers for a long time (powder blues are the 2nd best unis after the Bears home jerseys too) and there are still some cheering interests there. Keenan Allen and Desmond King are among my favorite players. For 2018 though, it was the Saints as I went to the Superdome for the first time and the fans were warm and welcoming and shrimp po’boys rule. I caught a high school game of his when I was a kid, and followed him all the way to the pro’s. But things turned sour for me with that team after he left (for obvious reasons).
